The Moore County Board of Education will hold its Regular Business Meeting on Monday, September 11, beginning at 6:00 p.m. The meeting is held in the Board Room of the Moore County Schools Central Office in Carthage.

The Board will enter closed session for confidential personnel matters, to prevent the disclosure of confidential student record information, and to consult with the Board attorney and preserve the attorney-client privilege pursuant to G.S. 143-318.11(a)(3) and (a)(6), G.S. 115C-402, G.S. 115C-319, and 20 U.S.C. 1232g, including a discussion of Bertie Board of Education v. Cowell, Wake County Superior Court No. 15 CVS 13881.A second closed session is listed later on the agenda in case additional time is needed after the conclusion of the first closed session. If there is no need for a second closed session, the Board will proceed to the next item on the agenda.

In accordance with Board Policy 1321, Agendas, the agenda for meetings shall include a consent agenda that lists items to be passed with a single motion and voted on without discussion.
