 As East Moore Water District Board of Directors, approved: minutes, revised fee schedule for EMWD, resolution and service contract amendment between EMWD and Moore County Public Utilities, resolution and water purchase contract and amendment between EMWD and MCPU, 2018 Water Shortage Response Plan for EMWD system

 Voted to file a petition for discretionary review to the NC Supreme Court regarding the Pinebluff ETJ ruling

 Received Hurricane Florence update

 Received update on employment and training program from Department of Social Services

 Approved on consent agenda: minutes, tax releases/refunds, updates to Moore County Transportation Services policies and procedures, acceptance of deed for conveyance of Lot 133 of Clarendon Gardens, rejection of bids for water mains, EMWD resolution and service contract, EMWD resolution and purchase contract and amendment, FY 19 Home and Community Care Block Grant, 2018 Water Shortage Response Plans

 Held a public hearing and approved submittal of the FY 19/20 5311 and 5339 Community Transportation Program application

 Called a public hearing on November 6, 2018 at 5:30pm regarding the Moore County Comprehensive Transportation Plan

 Approved Board of Education request to provide $2,400,000 for the lease of modular classroom units for the temporary Pinehurst Elementary School campus

 Approved mosquito abatement, Division of Public Health agreement addendum FY 18-19 in the amount of $156,435, and the associated budget amendment, rejected all bids and authorized staff to go back out for bids, and authorized the Chair, once the bidder is selected, to execute the vendor contract upon legal and finance approval

 Approved contract amendment with FirstHealth of the Carolinas for staffing the Wellness Works clinic

 Approved purchase contract with Northwestern Emergency Vehicle for not to exceed amount of $112,983 for chassis and remounting of existing ambulance box

 Approved purchase of ambulance from American Emergency Vehicles/Northwestern Emergency Vehicles using HGACBuy contract pricing not to exceed $99,685

 Classified General Fund fund balance as “Assigned Fund Balance” and “Committed Fund Balance” as of June 30, 2018 for amount totaling $5,370,079

 Approved agreement with Davenport & Company, LLC for the financial advisory services provided for the issuance of the County’s General Obligation School Bonds, Series 2018 – Aberdeen Elementary School in an amount not to exceed $86,300

 Adopted a resolution to revise the FY 19 regular meeting schedule for the Board of Commissioners, which changes the time of the first regular meeting of each month to 10:30am instead of 5:30pm, and becomes effective the first regular meeting of the calendar year 2019, January 8, 2019

 Reappointed Annette McGraw to the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council

 Reappointed Brenda Pickler and appointed Mary Lou Reynolds to the Nursing/Adult Care Home Community Advisory Committee
