What: Fayetteville VA will host a Town Hall for Veterans, family members and the public to ask questions and voice concerns about local and national VA programs and services and provide feedback about care they receive at Fayetteville VA facilities. VBA (Veterans Benefits Administration) Regional Office employees will be on hand to assist Veterans with filing and status of claims along with providing general information about VBA benefits and service.

“These Town Halls are vital to our commitment to supporting area Veterans,” said Fayetteville NC Coastal Health Care System (composed of Fayetteville VA Medical Center, health care centers (HCCs) in Fayetteville and Wilmington, community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCs) in Brunswick County, Goldsboro, Hamlet, Jacksonville, Robeson County and Sanford along with a VA/DOD rehabilitation clinic as well as dialysis center in Fayetteville) Interim Director Dr. W. Carl Bazemore. “They provide an opportunity for Veterans to hear firsthand about local and national VA programs and services and share feedback about care they receive at Fayetteville VA facilities.”

The meetings are open to the public and the media as well as Congressional stakeholders, Veteran Service Organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations, and other community partners.

Fayetteville NC Coastal Health Care System serves nearly 75,000-plus Veterans across 19 southeastern NC counties.
