The mission of the CAC is to give children and families hope for their futures with opportunity to experience successful accomplishments and fulfillment of their dreams. Scammers are ramping up their efforts to steal Social Security numbers to use in filing fraudulent tax returns. In 2018, over 1,600 instances of Social Security scams were reported nationwide to BBB Scam Tracker.
