The driver and occupant of a PT Cruiser escaped serious injury after their vehicle overturned Tuesday night outside of West End.
Emergency responders were called out just before 10:00 pm to reports of a vehicle overturned on NC Highway 73 near Provost Road.
The occupants were able to get out of the overturned vehicle before emergency units arrived on the scene. The two were examined by paramedics with Moore County EMS before refusing transport to the hospital.
One lane of NC Highway 73 was temporarily blocked by the responding emergency equipment causing brief delays for drivers passing through the area at the time of the accident.
Responding were units with West End Fire & Rescue, Moore County EMS, Moore County Sheriff’s Department, and the NC State Highway Patrol
