Sheriff Ronnie Fields announces the arrest of an Aberdeen man for larceny and weapons violations.
On May 6th, 2019, the Moore County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a firearm that was stolen from an individual in the Aberdeen area of Moore County. During the course of the investigation, Moore County Detectives obtained warrants for arrest on a single suspect. The United States Marshals Service assisted with the apprehension of this suspect.
On May 23rd, 2019, Detectives charged Patrice Hoza Taylor Jr, 27, of Aberdeen, North Carolina with one count of Larceny of a Firearm, one count of Possession of a Stolen Firearm, and one count of Possession of a Firearm by Felon. He was confined to the Moore County Detention Center under a $1,000,000 secured bond and is first scheduled to appear in Moore County District Court on June 12th, 2019.
