Sheriff Neil Godfrey announced the arrest of Adam Bowles, John Furr, Dustin Banks and Tammy Banks for the larceny of a four-wheel all-terrain vehicle from the City of Carthage, North Carolina.
On February 28, 2017 Carthage Police Department received a report from a resident on McNeill Street that his Honda TRX300X four-wheel ATV had been stolen.
On March 2, 2017 Sheriff Deputies located the stolen four-wheeler in the Eastwood area of Moore County and with the information and evidence obtained; deputies were able to identify all four suspects.
On March 2, 2017 deputies arrested Adam Richard Bowles, John Henry Furr Jr., Dustin Tyler Banks and Tammy Renee Banks all from Carthage, North Carolina. All were each charged with one count of felony larceny and one count of felony possession of stolen goods. All were placed in the Moore County Detention Center each under a $25,000.00 secured bond and are scheduled to appear on March 14, 2017 in District court.
