Sheriff Neil Godfrey announced the drug arrest of David C. Hagen following a traffic stop.
On December 4, 2017 deputies stopped a 1991 Chevrolet truck operated by David Hagan for a speeding violation near Robbins, North Carolina.
Hagan gave deputies consent to search his truck resulting in the seizure of: 16 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, five grams of Marijuana, three dosage units of Hydrocodone, six dosage units of Xanax, $405.00 in US currency and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Hagen was charged with: Possession with the Intent to Sell and Deliver a Schedule II (Methamphetamine) controlled-substance, Felony Possession of a Schedule II (Methamphetamine) controlled-substance, Felony Maintaining of a Vehicle for the Storage of a controlled-substance, Simple Possession of a Schedule II (Hydrocodone) controlled-substance, Simple Possession of a Schedule IV (Xanax) controlled-substance, Possession of less than half an ounce of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Hagen was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $3,000 secured bond and given a December 12, 2017 District Court date.
All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
