Sheriff Neil Godfrey announced the arrest of Benjamin Lamar Kennedy for multiple larcenies to include the Breaking and Entering of a business in the West End area of Moore County.
On January 11, 2018, deputies arrested Benjamin Lamar Kennedy, age 40, of Eagle Springs, North Carolina.
Kennedy was charged with: one count of Breaking and Entering, two counts of Felony Larceny, one count of Felony Possession of Stolen Goods, one count of Felony Forgery of Instrument, two counts of Felony Obtaining Property by False Pretense, one count of Misdemeanor Larceny, and two counts of Misdemeanor Possession of Stolen Goods.
Kennedy was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $6,500 secured bond and given a January 29th, 2018 District Court date.
All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
