A third man has been taken into police custody Friday evening after he turned himself in to law enforcement in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Saturday October 27th at the Tobacco Smoke Shop on NC Highway 5 in Aberdeen.
An undisclosed amount of money was taken during the robbery and one of the stores employees was struck with a gun by the suspects.
According to Aberdeen Police Department Deputy Police Chief Carl Colasacco, Friday evening a family member of one of suspects contacted law enforcement to make arrangements for the man to turn himself in and he came to the police to department to do so.
Treshon Malik Kershaw, 22 years old, from a Fullers Way address in Aberdeen was arrested in connection with this robbery. He was charged with Conspire To Commit Robbery With A Dangerous Weapon and Accessory After The Fact.
Kershaw was transported to the Moore County Detention Center in Carthage where he was held under a $500,000 secure bond. His first scheduled appearance in court is on November 13, 2018.
The arrest made this evening was following an arrest earlier today of the 2nd suspect James Howard Campbell III from Southern Pines who also faces similar charges in connection with the same robbery.
