Sheriff Ronnie Fields announces the arrest of a Robbins man and Carthage woman for breaking and entering of a residence in the Robbins area of Moore County.

On January 12th, 2019, a concerned citizen contacted the Moore County Sheriff’s Office about a suspicious vehicle at a residence on Plank Road near Robbins. As a result of this call, deputies responded to the area and located the vehicle.

After trying to elude deputies, both the driver and passenger in the car were arrested. Further investigation revealed that both individuals had broken into a residence and were stealing property when the deputy located them.

On January 12th, 2019, Investigators arrested Kimberly Christine Colwell, 54, of Carthage, North Carolina. Colwell was charged with: one count of Felony Breaking and Entering, one count of Felony Larceny, one count of Felony Possession of Stolen Goods, one count of Felony Flee to Elude Arrest in a Motor Vehicle, and one count of Reckless Driving to Endanger.

Colwell was confined to the Moore County Detention Center under an $80,000 secured bond pending a first appearance in Moore County District Court on January 31st, 2019.

On January 12th, 2019 Investigators arrested David Brandon Garner, 37, of Carthage, North Carolina. Garner was charged with: one count of Felony Breaking and Entering, one count of Felony Larceny, and one count of Felony Possession of Stolen Goods.

Garner was confined to the Moore County Detention Center under a $75,000 secured bond pending a first appearance in Moore County District Court on January 23rd, 2019.
