Sheriff Ronnie Fields announces the results of a joint operation between the Moore County Sheriff’s Office and the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office.
On January 24th, 2019, the Moore County Sheriff’s Office along with members of the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office saturated the areas between the two counties in an effort to prevent and deter crime in northern Moore County and southern Randolph County.
The saturation patrol involved license checking stations and placing focus on areas of high complaints involving criminal activity.
As a result of the joint effort, a total of five individuals were arrested for outstanding warrants and other drug related charges. Six traffic citations were also issued and a stolen license plate was seized.
