Jamey Crabtree Cox of Aberdeen passed away unexpectedly on April 30th, 2019 at her home, two days after her 54th birthday.

Born on April 28th, 1965 in Newport News, Virginia to James Gary and JoAnn Crabtree. Jamey had a strong Christian Faith. She served numerous positions at her church and currently served as treasurer. She was a down to earth, no frills woman that loved her church and loved her family. Jamey worked as an IT Analyst for FirstHealth Epic Department.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband, Stephen A. Cox; one daughter, Alicia Cox; step-son, Stephen Cox and family; brother, Todd Crabtree and family; sister, Dana Kirby and family and also survived by other family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 5th, 2019 from 2:00-3:00PM at Taylor Memorial Baptist Church with services following at 3:00PM. Burial in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Taylor Memorial Baptist Church 4164 Hoffman Road Jackson Springs, NC 27281.
