Ralph Irving Ellis, Jr., 58, of Pinehurst, NC passed away peacefully May 19, 2019 at First Health Hospice House in Pinehurst surrounded by his family.

Ralph was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on January 11, 1961 to Ralph Irving Ellis, Sr., and Karen Hout Ellis. Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He loved the state of Alaska, fishing – especially deep sea, and Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He was a friendly and outgoing person that everyone loved. He worked both in construction and automotive sales for most of his working career. He was known for always standing up against bullying of any kind.

Ralph was predeceased by his father in 2016. He is survived by his loving wife Terri Ellis; their son, William Ellis; his daughters, Loren Ellis-Rattner (Matt) and Kimberly Ellis; his brother Mike Ellis (Cindy); his sister, Cindy Fitzsimons (Bob); and 5 nieces, Erin Hartman, Shannon Richardson (Isaac), Keriann Fitzsimons, Karen Ellis and Rachel Ellis.

The family is planning a memorial service for a later date to be held in Burlington, Connecticut.
