Pansy Maxine McCrary, 76, of Mount Ulla, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Autumn Care of Salisbury.

Graveside services will be 11:00 am Tuesday at Cross Hill Cemetery in Carthage conducted by the Rev. Bruce Pardee Beck. The family will receive friends at the home of Billy and Patsy Salomon.

A native of Davidson she was a daughter of the late Foster and Audrey (Hiatt) McCrary. Pansy was raised in Midway, NC and graduated from Carthage High School and Asheboro Business College. She worked as a CNA at the Bryan Center in Asheboro. She loved cooking, reading, gardening and home decorating. She also enjoyed fashion and always looked nice wherever she went.

Pansy is survived by her daughter, Norma Lauder and husband Kenneth of Mount Ulla; sisters, Patsy Salmon and husband Billy of Carthage, Janice Patton and husband Jerry of Mocksville; brothers, Richard McCrary and wife Ann of Lexington, Walter McCrary and wife Shirley of Asheboro, Ronnie McCrary and wife Janelle of Asheboro, Steven McCrary of Little Washington,, Lynn McCrary and wife Beth of Lexington, Ralph McCrary of Salisbury, NC.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.Cancer.org, or to Animal Advocates of Moore County at www.aamcnc.org.
