He was an Eagle Scout, Troop Leader and a life-long supporter of the Boy Scouts of America. He moved to Pinehurst in February of 1999 and is a member of Pinewild CC. He was a 16 year employee of Pinehurst Resort, where he was a well loved ranger and starter.
