In an ongoing effort to provide quality public health services and to keep the public informed regarding services offered, the Moore County Health Department has announced several changes to its personal health clinic schedule that may affect clients. The department’s updated clinic schedule is listed below. These changes will go into effect beginning January 9th, 2017.
WIC (Women, Infants, and Children – Special Supplemental Nutrition Program)
Maternity (A.M. only, labs only)
Pregnancy Testing (A.M. only)
Sickle Cell (4th Tuesday only, A.M. only)
Sexually Transmitted Disease (P.M. only)
Tuberculosis (TB) (P.M. only)
Maternity (P.M. only)
Immunization (A.M. only)
WIC (A.M. only)
In addition to the above schedule changes, the Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program (BCCCP) will be suspended effective December 30th, 2016. In the meantime, any eligible patients will be referred to participating BCCCP programs in surrounding counties.
